Notes: Mort Lawrence demonstrates that he was one of the masters of the sequential-art medium. Unity of purpose from micro to macro.

Page 1:
Points of view: From the title Logo, "HOUSE" Rendered in stones floating obliquely above the main panel of the splash page to the two inset panels opening like windows rendered in perspective on the right we can tell that this story and this house shown from worm's-eye view (below), aerially (above), and snow covered (straight-on), is something unique.

Page 2:
Points of view: Panel 1: spider's-eye view, Panel 2: worm's-eye view, Panel 3: face-to-face (straight-on), Panel 4: Rats-eye view Note the narration above panels 2 and 3 is written on one continuous scroll parchment, uniting the two panels two views of the same subject: the two new tenants.

Page 3:
Points of view: Panel 1: bad-luck-view, (from under a ladder). Panel 4: fire's-eye-view, (from within the fireplace) Panel 6: Dead-rosebush's-eye-view.

Page 4:
Panel 3: worm's-eye view: Note the delicious shadows of the couple at the top of the stairs and the shadows of the banister. We end the story with three points of view of the the winner of the conflict, the house: Panel 5: worm's-eye view, Panel 6: rat and spider's-eye view, Panel 7: bat's-eye view.
