Tom Lammers: Story Information
Notes: Features some of the most horribly garbled history I've ever seen in a comic. I don't even know where to begin with what's wrong with it. The story features a fellow who commits robbery and murder in an utterly anglo Cayuse County, California in the 1830s. He crosses the border into Texas (?), and goes to a U.S. Army recruiting station in Aberdeen. From there he is transferred by his commanding officer to "Fort Alamo," (as in "Remember the Alamo") just in time to be killed by "the enemy with whom the U.S. was at war!" .... and then the Nazis dropped the A-bomb on Pearl Harbor, sinking the state of Maine, and causing Churchhill Downs to comment, "It was their finest hour!" - Tom Lammers
